Detectives Assume Control of Fatal Shooting Investigation on East 25th Street

On Feb. 19, at approximately 11:07 a.m., Eastern District officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) were dispatched to the 1600 block of East 25th Street to investigate a reported shooting.

When officers arrived at the location, they observed a 28-year-old Winter Johnson suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital by ambulance.

Despite medical efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased, a short time later due to his injuries.
