In reference to the homicide that occurred in the Western District on May 25, Baltimore Police Department investigators have arrested 22-year-old Korey Hopson of Baltimore.
Investigators learned Hopson killed 17-year-old Denzel Johnson and injured a 15-year-old male in a shooting on the 900 block of North Dukeland Street.
On May 25, Korey Hopson was arrested on the 3900 block of Stokes Road after attempting to elude officers through a wooded area. Detectives transported Hopson to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with murder and conspiracy in the first & second degree, attempted murder in the first and second and assault.
