On Feb. 8, the jury delivered its verdict to Michael Harris before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Lawrence P. Fletcher-Hill.
Harris, 36, was found guilty of two counts of attempted second-degree murder, firearm possession with a felony conviction, illegal possession of ammunition, firearm use in a felony violent crime, having a handgun on his person, discharging a firearm and reckless endangerment.
Harris was found not guilty of two counts of attempted first-degree murder, while the jury did not render verdicts for the charges of two counts of first-degree assault and two counts of second-degree assault.
According to previous reports, Nov. 9, 2022, Harris opened fire on his sister and her boyfriend at the Tire King on the 3200 block of East Madison Avenue. Both Harris’ sister and her boyfriend were hospitalized.
Harris’ sentencing is scheduled for April 16.
