A 24-year-old man charged with murder rejected a plea offer and had a trial date set during reception court on Oct. 20 at Baltimore City Circuit Court.
Cadeem Green is accused of the murder of Danny Henson, 31, on May 4 on the 5100 block of Williston Street. Another man, Daqwan Sawyer, 23, is also charged in this incident.
Green is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of firearm use in the commission of a crime, armed robbery, and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
On Wednesday, the prosecution offered Green a plea of life with the possibility of parole for first-degree murder.
Green and his defense attorney, Euphus Belu-John, rejected the offer.
A trial was set for April 19, 2022.
The prosecution said he wanted to try Green and Sawyer together, so Green will return to reception court with his co-defendant on Oct 21. to ensure the trial date works for both defense attorneys.
