On Oct. 5, at approximately 2:53 p.m., Northern District officers were patrolling the 500 block of Sheridan Avenue when they observed a male lying unresponsive in the rear alleyway.
Officers discovered an unidentified male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene by a medic.
