“I just wanna take the deal,” said defendant Kevin Hall during a hearing before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Jennifer Schiffer on May 1.

During Monday’s hearing, Hall, 34, accepted an aggregated sentence of life, suspending all but 18 years with five years of supervised probation for conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and use of a firearm in a felony violent crime, and a concurrent sentence of three years for violation of probation in connection to the murder of 44-year-old Antoine Crowder in 2020.

Hall was represented by defense attorney William Buie III.

“I feel like the whole system is unfair. It’s not someone is being unfair to me,” said Hall during his allocution statement.

According to charging documents, on Oct. 10, 2020, Hall and co-defendant Terrell Carter shot at Crowder on the 4200 block of Erdman Avenue in a Hyundai Elantra.

A jury found Carter not guilty of the murder of Crowder on April 4.
