“Charm City Kings” actress is headed for trial in December after rejecting a plea offer on Aug. 24 at Baltimore City Circuit Court.

Lakeyria Doughty, a 27-year-old Baltimore dirt bike rider, known as the “Wheelie Queen,” is charged with first-degree murder and use of a deadly weapon with the intent to injure in connection to the death of her girlfriend, 33-year-old Tiffany Wilson on Jan. 1, 2021.

Earlier this year, the Baltimore Sun reported, Wilson allegedly attempted to break up with Doughty, asking Doughty for her keys back to her apartment and to leave her alone. During a 911 call on New Year’s Day, Doughty said Wilson stabbed herself with a kitchen knife, which a medical examiner later disputed.

Charging documents stated that officers saw furniture was moved and there were scuff marks on the walls in Wilson’s apartment, the Baltimore Sun reported. Jewelry and hair that was possibly pulled out was also found.

Doughty’s defense attorney, Andrea Jaskulsky, previously told the judge that Doughty actually attempted to save Wilson’s life by performing CPR and calling 911, adding that Wilson was feeling down days before her death.

Further investigation also revealed confrontational text messages between Doughty and Wilson.

On Tuesday, Jaskulsky rejected the plea on Doughty’s behalf of life, suspending all but 50 years, with five years probation for first-degree murder. Although Doughty’s Hick’s date is in October—her right to a trial within 180 days of her first court appearance— Judge Melissa M. Phinn found reason to delay the trial due to counsels’ unavailability.

Doughty’s trial is scheduled for Dec. 20 in courtroom 441 in the Mitchell Courthouse before Judge Jeannie Jinkyung Hong.
