The Baltimore City Police Department is investigating a walk-in shooting victim in the evening hours on Feb. 26.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to an area hospital at approximately 9:02 p.m. in response to a walk-in male shooting victim, where they found a 44-year old man suffering from a gunshot to the left thigh with non-life threatening injuries.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was on the 1100 block of Pennsylvania Avenue when he got into an altercation with the suspect, who had attempted to rob him. The suspect shot the victim and fled the scene, while the victim went home after the shooting and decided to go to an area hospital shortly afterward.
