A 24-year-old Baltimore man rejected a plea at Baltimore City Circuit Court on Nov 4.
The defendant is charged with two counts of third-degree sex offense, sexual solicitation of a minor, false imprisonment, second-degree assault, concealment of a deadly weapon, and discharging firearms.
The alleged incident occurred on Jan. 1; however, no other information was presented to the court on Thursday.
The prosecution offered the defendant a plea of 10 years, suspending all but three years, for the charges of third-degree sex offense and second-degree assault. The defendant rejected this plea offer.
The prosecutor, who filled in for the assigned state’s attorney, told Judge Melissa M. Phinn that she could not provide a trial date for the case.
Judge Phinn scheduled the case to return to reception court on Nov. 19.
