Baltimore Police Department detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred on the 2400 block of Washington Boulevard on Aug. 16.
According to a press release, officers were called to the scene after a report of a shooting.
At the scene, officers located 48-year-old Sherry Birmingham. She later died at an area hospital.
