Baltimore Woman Arrested for Attempted Murder 

A 26-year-old woman has been arrested for the attempted murder of a 26-year-old man on May 26. 

The Baltimore Police Department has reported the arrest on Cowanda Mills, 26, after the incident on the 2000 block of Bryant Avenue around 12 p.m. for reports of a shooting, where they found a 26-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. 

The victim was taken to an area hospital, where his condition is currently unknown. 

Mills was arrested at the scene of the shooting, after she was held there by citizens until police arrived.

Investigators believe Mills shot the 26-year-old male victim following an argument.

Following her arrest, Mills was taken to Central Booking Intake Facility, where she has been charged with attempted first and second-degree murder and various handgun violations.
