Northwest District shooting detectives for the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) are investigating a shooting that happened on the evening of Jan. 4.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 4900 block of Liberty Heights at 6:34 p.m., for reports of a shooting. On arrival, officers found a 24-year-old man suffering from a gunshot to his abdomen.
The victim has been transported to an area hospital and is in serious condition.
Northwest District shooting detectives are investigating this incident and have yet to identify a suspect nor determine a motive.
