A 27-year-old man has been arrested for the murder of a 33-year-old and 27-year-old man on April 29.

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) has reported the arrest of Lamarr Candia, 27, exactly six weeks after the incident on the 3900 block of Liberty Heights Avenue around 8:44 p.m. for a shooting, where two men were found shot.

Once the medics arrived, they took both victims to Sinai Hospital, where they both died a short time later.

Investigators believe Candia shot and killed Robert Carter, 33, and Kennard Wilds, 27, at a gas station in the 3300 block of Garrison Boulevard, following a dispute. Initially, officers were originally dispatched to Liberty Heights Avenue.

Following the arrest, Candia was transported to Central Boking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with first-degree murder.
