The Baltimore Police Department made an arrest for the May 31, 2021 murder of a 34-year-old man and assault of a 31-year-old man that happened on the 1900 block of W. Fayette Street.
During their nine month investigation, police were able to determine the motive behind the murder was robbery.
The shooter was identified as 32-year-old Steven Arthur of Woodlawn, who was arrested on Feb. 7.
According to a press release, Arthur has been charged with first degree murder and is being held at Central Booking while he awaits trial.
