Bail review has been postponed until May 3 for attempted murder defendant before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Jeannie Hong on April 12.

In addition to attempted first-degree murder, Maarufu Allston, 21, is charged with attempted second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault, use of a firearm during a violent crime, and two counts of malicious destruction of property valued less than $1000 in connection to the incident that occurred on Jan. 20.

On behalf of his client, defense attorney, Rodney Gray, requested bail be postponed, as the defense is still waiting on outstanding evidence.

Judge Hong granted Gray his request for postponement.

Allston is scheduled to return for a bail hearing on May 3.
