A 27-year-old man accused of attempted murder and a 41-year-old man accused of homicide had their bail case postponed for a second time on Feb. 1 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Phillip S. Jackson

The 27-year-old non-fatal shooting defendant is charged with attempted first and second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault, use of a firearm during a violent crime, possession of a firearm with a felony conviction, possession of a firearm, having a handgun on his person, reckless endangerment, discharging firearms, and illegal possession of ammo in connection to an incident that occurred on Oct. 2, 2021.

During a bail review, Judge Jackson listened as counsel agreed to a new date for the defendant’s bail hearing. The defendant is being represented by defense attorney Ronald Brown.

The defendant’s initial bail review was scheduled for Jan. 21.

The defendant’s next hearing is scheduled for Feb. 18.

Dominic Boyd, 41, is charged with first-degree murder, use of a firearm in a violent crime, and three counts of possession of a firearm with a felony conviction in connection to an incident on June 20, 2020.

On Tuesday, Judge Jackson listened as the prosecutor, on behalf of defense attorney Staci Pipkin, requested a postponement due to her falling ill.

Initially, Boyd was denied bail in May by Judge Cynthia Jones.

Boyd’s next bail review has yet to be scheduled, however, he is currently awaiting a trial on Aug. 8
