A Baltimore man charged with attempted murder rejected a plea offer that would have changed the status of his case to noll pros in exchange for accepting a plea in another case on Oct. 7 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn.
Tyrone Epps, 30, is charged with first and second-degree attempted murder, first and second-degree assault, and use of a firearm during a felony violent crime in connection to an incident on July 5, 2021.
Epps and his defense counsel Jason Rodriguez, rejected a plea of 10 years suspending all but four years with three years on probation for second-degree assault in another case.
Epps’ trial is scheduled for Feb. 15, 2023. It is expected to last three days long with Judge John A. Howard presiding.
