A Baltimore man charged with attempted murder had his trial date set before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn on Dec. 14.
Henry Allen, who is represented by Maureen O’Leary, rejected a plea offered by the prosecution of 30 years, suspending all but 15 years with the first five years without parole and four years of supervised probation for attempted first degree murder. In addition, he was offered a consecutive sentence of five years for possession of a firearm with a felony conviction.
The 26-year-old defendant is charged with attempted first and second-degree murder, first-degree assault, reckless endangerment, having a handgun on his person, discharging firearms, possessing a firearm with a felony conviction, illegal possession of a regulated firearm, illegal possession of ammo and use of a firearm in a felony violent crime in connection to an crime committed on May 31.
Judge Phinn scheduled the defendant for trial on March 15, 2023, before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Erik Atas.
