A defendant told Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn Oct. 18 that he is still deciding on whether to accept or reject a plea offer from the prosecution.

Aubrey Lang, 35, is charged with first-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, use of a firearm in a violent crime, reckless endangerment, possession of a firearm with a felony conviction, and having a handgun on his person.

He was charged in connection to an incident on Aug. 15, 2019.

Judge Phinn listened as the prosecution presented a plea of 20 years with the first five without parole for both first-degree attempted murder and use of a firearm in a violent crime.

Lang’s trial is scheduled for Feb. 18, 2022.
