On March 28, Freddie Fordham accepted a plea deal via his attorney Natalie Finegar before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn.
The defendant was sentenced to 25 years, suspending all but 10 years, and five years of supervised probation for first-degree assault, a concurrent 15 years, the first five years without the possibility of parole, for firearm use in a felony violent crime, a consecutive 25 years, suspending all but 10 years, and five years of supervised probation for first-degree assault, a consecutive 25 years, suspending all but five years and five years of supervised probation for first-degree assault. He also must register as a gun offender.
Fordham was originally charged with three counts each of attempted first- and second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first- and second-degree assault, firearm use in a felony violent crime, conspiracy to use a handgun in a felony violent crime, as well as reckless endangerment, firearm possession with a felony conviction, possession of a firearm in a controlled dangerous substance offense, illegal possession of ammunition, firing a gun in Baltimore City, having a handgun on his person, conspiracy to have a handgun on his person, having a handgun in his vehicle and conspiracy to have a handgun in his vehicle.
These charges are connected to an incident that occurred on Nov. 29, 2022. Court documents indicate that video surveillance and witnesses pointed investigators to suspect Fordham as the one who shot a woman on the 400 block of Saint Clair Crossing.
