The Baltimore Police Department has made an arrest for a non-fatal shooting that occurred on the 1300 block of West Cross Street.
According to a news release, on March 7 around 11:45 a.m., police were called to the 1100 block of Sargeant Street, where they found a 20-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police believe the victim fled to Sargent Street after being shot on the 1300 block of West Cross Street.
The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Deshun Smith, 19, was transported to Central Booking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with attempted first-degree murder.
