A 32-year-old man was arrested and charged with attempted murder on Sept. 16 in connection to a shooting in early June.
On Sept. 24, the Baltimore Police Department reported the arrest of Phillip Armstrong who was charged with attempted first-degree murder and is being held at the Baltimore City Central Booking Intake Facility.
Police said in a news release that officers were called to the 1600 block of Olmstead Street around 6:30 p.m. on June 6 in response to a shooting. A 36-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound that was not life threatening.
Following their investigation, detectives obtained a warrant and arrested Armstrong.
