A Baltimore man was arrested earlier this week for the attempted murder of a 39-year-old woman who was found injured on North Schroeder Street.
Officers from the Baltimore Police Department were called to the 1000 block of Brantley Avenue for a Shot Spotter alert around 8:15 p.m. on Sept. 4, according to a press release. After searching the area, they found the woman with non-life threatening gunshot wounds on the 600 block of North Schroeder Street.
Following an investigation, officers arrested 38-year-old Bryant Foster on Sept. 6 and charged him with attempted first and second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault, firearm use in a violent crime, reckless endangerment, having a loaded handgun in a vehicle, having a loaded handgun on his person, having a handgun in a vehicle, having a handgun on his person, and discharging a firearm.
Bryant is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Oct. 5 at 9 a.m. at the District Court for Baltimore City, according to the Maryland Judiciary website states.
