The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the early morning on May 29.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 3400 block of South Hanover Street around 5:22 a.m. after being notified by MTA police for reports of a shooting, where they found 47-year-old Sonya Steingel suffering from an apparent gunshot wound while inside a vehicle.
Medics pronounced the victim dead on the scene.
