A 23-year-old Baltimore man accused of an attempted murder last June will move forward with a jury trial this summer.
Dreshawn Scott is charged with attempted first and second-degree murder, conspiracy to first-degree murder as well as multiple assault and weapons charges for the non-fatal shooting on June 15, 2022.
During reception court on Jan. 9, Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa Phinn set Scott’s trial for June 26.
He will be represented by defense attorney Augustine Okeke.
Baltimore Police previously reported that officers were called to the 4100 block of Frederick Avenue for a reported shooting and found a 31-year-old man with gunshot wounds around 8:30 p.m.
The defendant was arrested for the crime two weeks later.
