Accused Bus Stop Shooter Gets 2025 Trial Date Amid Plea Negotiations

A 24-year-old Pennsylvania man accused of shooting another man during a bus stop robbery earlier this year was given a January 2025 trial date while plea negotiations remain underway.

During reception court on Oct. 17, Noah James Wilson and his attorney, Jerry Rodriguez, appeared before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Dana M. Middleton.

Wilson, 24, is charged with 13 felony and misdemeanor counts, including attempted first and second-degree murder, armed robbery, robbery, first and second-degree assault, firearm use during a felony-violent crime, illegal possession of a firearm, handgun on a person, illegal possession of ammunition and discharging a gun.

The prosecution informed the judge that there has not been a plea offer at this time. Baltimore Police Department (BPD) detectives are currently reviewing information from defense counsel, she said, and any plea offer would be based on those results.

Counsel agreed to schedule a three-day trial, beginning Jan. 14, 2025. No judge has yet been assigned the case.

The Grove City, Pa., resident allegedly attempted to rob the victim at a bus stop on the 4800 block of Belair Road on March 17. The victim told police that the man—later identified as Wilson—pointed a gun at him and demanded he “take it off,” according to court documents. In an attempt to stop the alleged shooter, the victim was shot once in his stomach and a second time in his back.

The victim walked into Johns Hopkins Hospital for treatment just before 5:30 a.m. that morning.
