A 36-year-old man has been arrested for the attempted murder of a 31-year-old man and the murder of a 30-year-old woman on April 15.
The Baltimore Police Department have reported the arrest of Joel Ugah, 36, a repeat offender exactly three in half weeks after the incident on the 800 block of Gretna Court around 6:19 a.m., where a 31-year-old man sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound and 30-year-old Brittany Keyser died from her injuries at the scene.
Detectives examined physical evidence and spoke to potential witnesses and were ultimately able to identify the suspect.
On May 10, Ugah was arrested at an apartment in the 6900 block of Donachie Road without incident.
Following his arrest, Ugah was taken to Central Booking, where he has been charged with first-degree murder, first-degree attempted murder, first and second-degree assault, and numerous firearms violations.
Ugah remains in Central Booking and is waiting to see a court commissioner.
