On July 4, at approximately 8:57 p.m., a 25-year-old male was driving a dirt bike on the 900 block of West Lexington Street, when he collided with a Dodge Charger.
Medics responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital where he later died.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the location while an unidentified individual removed the victim’s dirt bike from the scene before police arrived.
Crash Team investigators are investigating this incident.
