On June 24, 2024, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Baltimore Police Department fficers were dispatched to investigate a call for a shooting inside a residence on the 500 block of Normandy Avenue.
Officers responded to the location and observed a 43-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the ankle. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The victim informed officers that this incident was self-inflicted.
Southwest District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.
