Police Arrest 19-Year-Old for Eastern District Murder

On May 15, at around 2:30 p.m., Warrant Apprehension Task Force and Eastern District Patrol members arrested 19-year-old Montay Brown.

Detectives believe that Brown shot and killed a 33-year-old male on May 6 on the unit block of East 21st Street.

Brown was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with first-degree murder and additional charges.

On May 6, 2024, at approximately 4:09 a.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting on the unit block of East 21st Street.

Once at that location, they discovered a 33-year-old male inside a vehicle suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Medics responded and pronounced the victim deceased a short time later.
