Medical Examiner Rules Man Died of 2021 Shooting Injuries

On May 14, 2021, at approximately 5:32 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to a home on the 2500 block of Hollins Street for a report of a shooting.

Once there, Baltimore Police Department officers located a 39-year-old Unseld Knight suffering from multiple serious gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was listed in critical condition.

On Aug. 9, the victim died at an area hospital. 

The victim’s body was transported to the Medical Examiner’s office for autopsy, and on Nov. 14, Homicide detectives were advised the death was ruled as a homicide, stating the victim died as a result of injuries suffered in the May 14, 2021, shooting.
