Victims Die After W. Patapsco Avenue Shooting

On Sept. 24, at approximately 2:52 p.m., Southern District officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of W. Patapsco Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the location and observed 23-year-old Robert Weddington and 25-year-old Benjamin Lemon suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to an area hospital in critical condition, where they later died.

Due to the victims’ injuries, homicide detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation.
