Southern District Detectives Connect Crime Scene, Shooting Victim

On Sept. 24, at approximately 1:29 a.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the 900 block of W. Ostend Street for a ShotSpotter alert. Once there, officers canvassed the area and found evidence of a discharging.

Officers were then dispatched to an area hospital to investigate a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment.

Once at the hospital, officers observed a 37-year-old male being treated by medical personnel, suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

Southern District shooting detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.
