Western District Homicide Detectives Seek Answers Regarding Fatal Cutting

On Aug. 26, at approximately 5:44 a.m., officers responded to a residence located on the 1600 block of North Monroe Street to investigate a call for a cutting.

Upon arrival, officers observed 43-year-old Jeanette Thompson unresponsive suffering from numerous life-threatening stab wounds. Medics arrived on scene and pronounced the victim deceased on the scene.

Homicide detectives with the Baltimore Police Department responded and assumed control over this investigation.
