On Aug. 30, at approximately 10:26 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Wellesley Street to investigate a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers observed 26-year-old Thomas Bekele unresponsive suffering from numerous life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics arrived and pronounced the victim deceased on the scene.
Homicide detectives with the Baltimore Police Department responded and assumed control over this investigation.
