Officers Respond to Hospital Following Non-Fatal Shooting in Carroll Park

On Aug. 14, at approximately 12:40 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department responded to an area hospital for a walk-in victim seeking treatment.

Once at the hospital, officers located a 23-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the left hand. The victim is listed in stable condition.

The victim stated he was walking his dog inside Carroll Park when he heard gunfire and realized he was shot.

Southeast District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Southeast District shooting detectives at 410-396-2488.
