Southeast District Detectives Seek Help Identifying Skeletal Remains Found in Suitcase

On Aug. 6, at approximately 7:16 a.m., officers responded to the 2400 block of East Madison Street to investigate a call for skeletal remains found in a suitcase.

Upon arrival, officers located human skeletal remains inside a suitcase.

Homicide detectives with the Baltimore Police Department responded and assumed control over this investigation. The Medical Examiner’s Office retrieved the remains and will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
