Southern District Officers Launch Investigation into Non-Fatal Shooting on Benson Avenue

On July 28, at approximately 11:06 p.m., Southern District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department responded to an area hospital for a victim seeking treatment for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Once at the hospital, officers located a 22-year-old female victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. The victim is listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot on the 3600 block of Benson Avenue.

Southern District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Southern District shooting detectives at 410-396-2499.
