Western District Detectives Open Investigation into Pennsylvania Avenue Shooting

On July 29, at approximately 9:48 a.m., Western District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department responded to the 2400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue to investigate a shooting.

A short time later, officers received a report of a shooting victim who walked into an area hospital seeking treatment.

Once at the hospital, officers located an unidentified male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the leg. The victim is listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot on the 2400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.
