Eastern District Officers Respond to Call of Walk-In Shooting Hospital Victim

On May 31, at approximately 1:13 a.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a reported walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment.

Once at the hospital, officers observed a 27-year-old female victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the right leg. The victim is listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim stated she was in a crossfire; however, she refused to provide a location of the incident.

Eastern Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Eastern District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2433.
