Detectives Seeking Answers in Western District Homicide

On Feb. 24, at approximately 10:02 p.m., officers for the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 700 block of Ashburton Street.

While canvassing the area, officers were alerted to a shooting victim in the 2500 block of Harlem Avenue.

Officers responded and found a 39-year-old Anthony Daunte Miles suffering from gunshot wounds, seated in an SUV that had struck several vehicles in the block.

The victim was transported to Shock Trauma, by medics, where he was pronounced deceased shortly after arrival.

Homicide detectives responded, assumed control of the investigation, and located a crime scene in the 700 block of Ashburton Street.
