Shooting Victim Goes Door-to-Door Seeking Help on Rayshire Avenue

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) is seeking answers regarding a non-fatal shooting that occurred on Feb. 14.

On Tuesday, at approximately 7:02 p.m., officers responded to the 2900 block of Rayshire Avenue for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 44-year-old male inside a home suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital and his injuries are non-life threatening.

Southern District shooting detectives are investigating this incident. 

Preliminary investigation revealed the victim was shot outside on the 2900 block of Rayshire Avenue, and then knocked on residents’ doors for help. Detectives have also determined that this shooting is not related to the 800 Washington Boulevard shooting.
