On February 13, 2023, at approximately 10:38 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 1200 block of North Potomac Street, for a ShotSpotter alert.
Once there, officers located 19-year-old Tyree Bell suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died.
