Officers for the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) are seeking answers regarding a non-fatal shooting which occurred on Bancroft Road.
On Jan. 7, 2023, at approximately 4:50 p.m., officers responded to the 4000 block of Bancroft Road for reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers found a 49-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds to his torso.
The victim was transported to an area hospital where he is in serious condition.
Northwest District shooting detectives are investigating this incident.
Preliminary information revealed the victim was standing in the block when an unknown vehicle pulled up and one of the occupants inside the vehicle opened fire, without warning.
