Detectives Seek Answers in Double Shooting in Southeast District

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) is investigating the shooting of two men the morning of Jan. 4.

On Wednesday, at approximately 9:24 a.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to the 3200 block of Pulaski Highway for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 55-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. While on the scene, officers were notified of a second victim, 32-year-old Kevin Evans Jr. in the 100 block of North Clinton Street, also suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Medics transported both victims to area hospitals for treatment where the 55-year-old male is listed in stable condition. The second victim died from his injuries.

The location for this shooting has been set in the 300 block of Loney’s Lane.

Homicide detectives have been notified due to the condition of  the second victim.
