Walk-In Shooting Victim Reported in Southwest District

On Dec. 27, at approximately 2:56 p.m., Southwest District shooting detectives for the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to an area hospital where a shooting victim walked in seeking treatment.

Upon arrival, officers located a 48-year-old male who was suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim is currently in surgery and is listed as in critical condition but is stable.

Detectives have learned that the victim was shot in the unit block of S. Caton Avenue by unknown an suspect(s).
