Police Report Shooting of 32-Year-Old Male on Washington Boulevard

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) is investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred in the Southern District on Dec. 12.

On Monday, at approximately 5:30 a.m., officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 1300 block of Washington Boulevard.

Once they arrived, officers found a 32-year-old male victim being placed into the back of an ambulance.  The victim was suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his buttocks and was transported to an area hospital.

Southern District shooting detectives responded and are investigating this incident.

The victim reports that he was standing on the block when he heard gunshots.  The victim then stated he felt pain and realized he had been shot, but didn’t see where the shots came from.
