The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) has launched an investigation into the shooting of two men on Dec. 11.
On Sunday, at approximately 6:43 p.m., Northeast District officers responded to the 1500 block of Havenwood Road to investigate a reported shooting.
Once there, officers located an 22-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the body, and a 56-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
Medics responded to the location and transported both victims to local hospitals, where the 56-year-old victim was pronounced deceased by medical personnel.
Homicide Detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.
