Police Arrest Baltimore Man and Charge with Woodland Avenue Murder

Officers for the Northwest District of the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) have arrested 27-year-old Josh Roberts of Baltimore in connection with the homicide that occurred on Nov. 28.

Investigators believe Roberts shot and killed 38-year-old Khalil Tatum, in the 3600 block of Woodland Avenue. On Nov. 29, 2022, detectives arrested Josh Roberts and transported him to Central Booking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with first-degree murder.

On the day of the murder, at approximately 1:29 p.m., Northwest District patrol officers were called to the 3600 block of Woodland Avenue for a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Medics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead at the location.
