Police Investigating Life Threatening Shooting of 13-Year-Old Girl

The Baltimore Police Department’s (BPD) Southeast District is looking for information in the shooting of a teen on Nov. 7.

On Monday, at approximately 5:19 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of East Fayette Street to investigate a Shot Spotter alert for gunfire in the area. 

When officers arrived, they observed a 13-year-old female suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported by ambulance to an area hospital in grave condition.

Due to the severity of the victim’s injuries, homicide investigators were summoned and have assumed control over the investigation.  Anyone who has information about this incident is urged to contact detectives at 410-396-2100.
